Mingo-Wing Win SEC Awards

BATON ROUGE — LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo and punter Brad Wing earned Southeastern Conference Player of the Week honors for their efforts in the Tigers’ 45-10 victory over Auburn on Saturday.

Mingo, a sophomore, had four tackles with two sacks totaling 21 yards and a quarterback hurry in losses in LSU’s 45-10 win over Auburn.

Wing, a redshirt freshman, averaged 51.2 yards on four punts, three of which were downed inside the Auburn 20.

For the season, Wing has had 15 of his 31 punts downed inside the 20, the second highest percentage (48.39) in the SEC.
